Program Description
UBBG’s Inbound International Academic Program is a 25-week course (comprising 60 hours) designed by Universitas Bina Bangsa Getsempena for international students who wish to experience a non-degree program at UBBG. Students will learn via online classrooms and engage in project reporting throughout the course. This program is part of the Getsempena International Academic Normalization and Transformation (GIANT), an initiative led by the Rector of Universitas Bina Bangsa Getsempena. The entire program will be conducted entirely in English.

Program Content 2023: UBBG Micro credentials Course on English Education
This course serves as an introductory exploration of key principles and practices in English education. It provides participants with both theoretical insights and practical learning experiences that are directly applicable to the field of English language teaching. The course covers a variety of essential themes, including language acquisition theories, effective teaching methodologies, curriculum design, assessment strategies, and the integration of technology in English language instruction.
Throughout the course, participants will delve into the principles of language learning, gaining an understanding of how individuals acquire and develop their language skills. They will explore innovative teaching techniques and strategies to create engaging and productive language learning environments. Additionally, the course will focus on curriculum development, enabling participants to design effective English language programs that cater to diverse learner needs.
The courses will be taught from multiple perspectives and disciplines at Universitas Bina Bangsa Getsempena. You will gain theoretical knowledge and the implication of each theme learned towards development.
At the end of the course, you are expected to present your project related to the chosen theme from the course.
UBBG’s course on English Education aims to:
- Introduce the principles of English Education Development Goals and their application in a developing country
- Train students in knowledge and skills in a shorter period of time than the degree program

Certificate
A certificate of awarding will be held at the end of the teaching/learning period. You will receive digital certificates (paper certificates are also available upon request) upon completion of the course. Credit transfer is given if you join at least 80% of the program, including the project.
